HOUSE OF BLUES Wispy tendrils of hot dust and gas glow brightly in this ultraviolet image of the Cygnus Loop Nebula, taken by NASA’s Galaxy Evolution Explorer. The nebula lies about 1,500 light-years away, and is a supernova remnant, left over from a massive stellar explosion that occurred 5,000-8,000 years ago. (Photo via NASA)
This is incredible! I love when NASA finds stuff like this. Beautiful.

Art/Craft/Sewing corner! Frankly, I’m embarrassed to show what was there before I made it over. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty. I moved into this apt about 6 months ago (yes, yes, I know it’s taken me a while to get going) and I’ll be moving again in July to my own place! But I figured, for the time being it would be nice to have somewhere to draw, paint, sew things and do crafts. I created this space using recycled tea containers, old carts and a lot of bins and baskets. Now what used to be a disastrous schmorgasbord of paintbrushes, fabric, and stickers is now organized! Yay!
I Don’t Remember…
by Ash L Bennett
I don’t remember, any more, The exact shape of your hands As I held them in mine, Caressed them, Memorized the length of your fingers, The depth of your calluses. I don’t remember, any more, Exactly your height, how much Taller than me You were, where My head rested on your chest When you held me tightly close. I don’t remember, any more, Your scent, when we lay together Creating our own Magic rhythm, Matching our heartbeats as we Touched the sky, together. I don’t remember, any more, The sound of your voice, calling My name as though It were a song Within itself, a precious treasure You valued with all your being. And I don’t remember, any more, The color of your eyes, the shape Of your lips, Only… How your eyes crinkled at the corners And your laugh, as you told me, “I love you.”
